General opinion
On arrival in Kathmandu issued passes and checked in to the hotel. I read reviews about Nepal before you travel, so a bustling city with endless beeping cars, mopeds, buses, rickshaws, carts and pedestrians I am not shocked. After checked in, we walked around the touristic part of Kathmandu and had lunch in a vegetarian restaurant. Before the trip I was worried about the food on the itinerary, as I am not a vegetarian. But after visiting the first restaurant with extremely tasty mushroom soup realized that starving will not.
The next morning we went to Pokhara, where we began our ascent to Annapurna base camp. A large number of steps we have overcome along the route, without sticks, it would be very difficult. Beautiful views opened up literally from day one. Hospitable people, great company, interesting stories instructor Sasha have become an integral part of this trekking! We saw monkeys, about which so dreamed of suspension bridges, unreal beautiful rhododendron forest and snowy peaks of Himalayas.
On arrival in Pokhara we were able to walk to the shops, buy Souvenirs, take a ride on a boat across the lake to the island with the temple. In Kathmandu we also visited temples, saw even the Kumari (the child goddess in Nepal), and went to a very beautiful Park Garden of Dreams.
It was a memorable vacation with a lot of impressions and positive emotions. Huge thanks to Sasha for the competent organization, the answers to numerous questions, interesting stories and his sense of humor! Anyone who wants but does not dare recommend a visit to this unusual country).
