Review. Trekking in Carpathians «Marmarosy (Hutsul Alps)»

Elena Kurilec

Translated from Russian

Organization

Great, all things considered, I liked it. the downside is the lack of the necessary minimum of medicines from the instructor, the type of bandage and iodine.

Food

The food is good, but not enough nuts and dried fruit for a snack during the day. Preferably, at least a couple of cans of corned beef to have, except the dry meat. The idea of dry soup is of course great, but the stew needed. Tuna is nice, but cheese and pasta is tough. not everyone eats, or rather, very few people eating this dish, because it is smelly work. For sweets - a special thank you!

Instructor - Anatoliy Kozachenko

Instructor good, calm, not customized one, patient. One feels that he knows his stuff.

General opinion

A great route for beginners is not suitable.

Response of administration

Thanks for the feedback. Iodine we long been replaced by a peroxide, but for the lack of the bandage will ask from the instructor.
As for layout, try to Supplement it with nuts and dried fruits for snacking, but the stew return to menu will not. Unfortunately, its quality and composition are far from real meat, which we dry and use in campaigns.

Tour Information

Unusual hiking in the Carpathian Mountains, where the ridges are steep, rocky peaks and a large part of the route runs along the border between Ukraine and Romania. Marmarosy not for nothing called the Hutsul Alps, they are very different from the usual Carpathian peaks and do not cease to amaze with their spectacular views, and the status of the border for a long time doing this part of the Carpathians is closed to the public.
